The solenoid doesn't fit my Orbit valve

The solenoid doesn't fit my Orbit valve and (according to the website) I can't return it for a refund. I'd have preferred to return it and exchanged it for a complete valve.

Installed replacement solenoid at it seems to be working as expected and so far has fixed the issue with the sprinkler valve no firing automarically
