I purchased two decorative spinning sprinklers and attempted to attach them with the pass through

I purchased two decorative spinning sprinklers and attempted to attach them with the pass through. One of the sprinklers is perfect! The other is slow to spin. I have disassembled, lubricated, but, while a bit better, is still slow to spin. I would love to solve this, as I do love the sprinklers! Guidance welcome.
