It doesn't work properly. The meter leaks out of the top and work turn off when reaching zero.

This was actually a replacement for one that had failed after less than 60 days of service. They made getting a replacement so difficult it really wasn’t worth it. I’ve had these for several years and typically when I replace one, it is truly worn out that was not the case this time. But they certainly didn’t make it easy.

I purchased an inexpensive mechanical timer on Amazon. It stopped working as intended about 60 days later.... They sent me a new one with almost no questions asked! I love Orbit for just that reason! Been a long time customer... 1st issue ever, no problems!! Thank You Orbit!!
our previous hose water timer developed a leak with less than 1 years use. thanks to the warranty we just got a brand new timer and it works perfectly. hope this one lasts!

Plastic feels cheap. This is my second try. First one lasted two weeks. I believe they should replace it with one of their metal ones for my inconvenience!

Simplicity is best. Great reliable timer. We use these for our pool service routes for refilling pools when low.

the first one I received malfonctionned aftre a month of use,
called the customer service and replaced it in a very quick time !!!

Saves me over watering the garden because I forget to turned off the water
This review is for a warranty replacement I received for a unit that had stopped working after about 5 months of occasional use. The replacement timer was shipped in a plastic bag, no box or protection for the timer itself. Upon opening the bag I could see a large nick in the male threaded connection. Sure enough, when I attached it to the hose bibb the nick prevented a seal and water was dripping out of the connection in a continuous stream. In my book, 2 strikes and you're out. The replacement unit went in the trash and I'm done with trying to rely on this "simple" but unreliable timer.

I bought a two-pack of wind-up garden hose timers. One stopped working. I learned that Orbit covered it with a generous 6-year warranty. I notified the company of my problem (actually called them to see if there might be a possible repair option) and they immediately sent me a new unit that I received only a couple days later. I felt that was very good customer service!

The ones I received directly from Orbit work perfectly. Others, that I have purchased from a home improvement store leak. I'm sure it's because of the packaging from Orbit. they are thrown into a box loose and probably banging around each other which causes them to get beat up and leak.
