Really like the manifold and would have given it 5-stars except for one issue.
The fact that the brass body has a 'rubber plug' on each end that is part of the covering that fails and allows the unit to leak is an issue. Don't understand why this weakness isn't changed on an otherwise nice part?

The Orbit Metal Manifold with Shut-offs 58970 fixed the problem. Hopefully with the brass connectors it will last a long time.

Realized its identical to the one I am replacing where the end molding came loose and the plastic plug popped out. That one lasted a year or two out in northwest weather including freezing. Not super but worked well until it spring a leak.

Great manifold I'm able to water all my flower beds slowly with this 4 way unit connected to a wifi water timer I can control with my phone set up, Orbit has some great products highly recommend this one!

My first one worked well for many years, despite being on a hydrant with high water pressure and a lot of iron and other minerals in the water. So when it finally began to leak, I got another one just like it.

the two manifolds we recently received are great. they were a replacement for two similar manifolds from orbit that were sour grapes from the get-go. they never functioned correctly, did not shut off there hoses completely and leaked. your customer service that helped me was great, and was able to authorize the two new ones which were sent to me at no charge. these are functioning very well and I would not hesitate to purchase orbit again, due to your customer service. thank you.

I bought this splitter from Walmart last year and it started leaking water. Since it was under warranty I tried contacting Orbit and surprisingly they sent me $20 voucher to purchase new one from the website.

I have a hose to an outside sink, a hose going to my garden,and a hose next to my outdoor sink. It is exactly what I needed. The shut-offs are easy to turn on and off as needed. Thia is the second one I have purchased.
