I have a few of these fabric type hoses and this Orbit 33185 hose has a few positives and negatives when I compare them all:Positive:This one has a more rigid core underneath the fabric, making it a bit tougher.And it rolls up nicely (probably due to the more rigid core.)Negatives:Most fabric hoses have a plastic sleeve at each end to prevent the fabric from bending at the metal coupling/threads. With the water on, the hose expands and has some shape due to the water pressure in it––but If the hose can bend too easily at the ends, it will cut off the water supply. (Either at your spigot or where you attach your sprayer head.) This Orbit hose bends at the end where I have my sprayer, so it’s a big negative because I then have to essentially hold up the hose with one hand while spraying (to keep it from flopping and cutting off) and use the other hand to hold the sprayer. You can see in my photos that my other hose has a tapered end, which seems to keep the hose from flopping downward…but the Orbit end is just a tube, which I think allows the hose to bend, cutting off or lowering the water supply/pressure.This is a strong, sturdy looking hose and a terrific length for gardening, but because it doesn’t have that tapered sleeve at the end, I wouldn’t purchase this one again.
This was a replacement for another hose that started to leak. Orbit honored their warranty and sent a new hose, at no cost. I certainly respect that! Especially, in today’s market.
Customer services was great and responded right away to resolve issue.
Great hose with an excellent warranty
This is my second fabric hose. The last one leaked at the joint near the end with the nozzle. I am now more aware to make sure that when I drain the hose after use, to make sure the hose and nozzle are not kinked or less than perfectly straight. Hope that keeps this one more than14 months like the last one
this was a replacement under waranty for an Orbit fabric hose that sprung a leak after having it for a litt;e more than a year. While I like the light weight of the hose and that it does not kink, I hope this will last much longer and applaud Orbit for living up to its waranty and replacing it.
Amazing products I’m not sure what took me so long to order them. Car superior to whatever else is on the market.

Flexible garden hose usually does not last long. Orbit's hose is not exceptional. It leaked within a year. I called Orbit's customer service and explained the problem. They immeadiatelysent a new one without charge. So, this 5 stars rating is for thier customer service, not for hose quality.
We like our 50-foot fabric hose. It is light to move around and does not kink. Very flexible too.
First hose outside shield started to fray. Lifetime warranty covered replacement.

This item was a replacement covered by the warranty of a hose I purchased during the 2024 gardening season. The entire process was handled very customer centered. I was extremely pleased by the overall performance of the hose. It far exceeded everything described on the packaging and well worth the cost. This is the first time I contacted a company about a product like this to ask a question about such a failure. The representative asked me a few questions, about hose to identify the model, told me about the lifetime warranty, sent me the instructions on what I needed to do to get a replacement and I had a new hose with in 10 days. Now I have it put away and ready for next gardening season and many more. I could not be more satisfied. Thank you

Hose broke after using twice. I don't recommend anything from orbit as they cancelledmy warranty replacement claimfor my 3 brass impact sprinklers I was approved to get replaced. They intercepted the transaction and cancelled the order and I am outraged at this crappy low quality piss poor company
