Awesome retractable hose.It is heavier than I expected so decided against my planned method of installation (on a wooden post sunk into the ground). As a temporary solution, I drove a 1/2" x 2' piece of rebar into the ground and place the metal rod over that. I then set a concrete paver under it. It functions as intended, though not ideal.The kit includes screws and anchors to drive into the side of my home, but didn't want to commit to permanent installation just yet. It actually has handles on it, which allow for easy movement (despite relative heft). As long as it is mounted in some way, the hose pulls out and locks into place perfectly. It is also very easy to retract it. The length is so convenient.I ordered this for use in my growing garden and I believe it will be perfect!
The Orbit Auto-Retracting Hose Reel is a great addition to your yard or garage. I liked to auto retracting feature and the large diameter hose. The fittings are high quality brass and are easy to attach to standard hose attachments. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't so large! It's actually huge and unless it is concealed can be distracting. At 100' of 5/8” diameter hose it has to be big. Mechanically it works as advertised. It has loads of water pressure and is rated at 500psi. The entire unit rotates left and right a full 180 degrees as long as there were no obstructions. An 8 foot supply hose reaches when the unit is mounted far from the hose bib. I mounted it on a 4x4 post with the enclosed hardware and had it installed in 5 minutes. Has a grab handle on both ends that make mounting/dismounting and handling easy. Install on the enclosed heavy plastic pivot mount and easily dismount the entire unit in the winter. Has a lockable ant-theft protection on the pivot post utilizing a small padlock. Is UV protected which keeps the plastic from degrading in the sunlight. Comes with a plastic mount, 4 heavy lag bolt type screws, washers and wall anchors for concrete or brick mounting.
Great convenient hose and reel in one. Also very good warranty. Have a few of them for our facility.
I am very satisfied with the retractable 100 ft hose reel. It seems to be well built. I just ordered another one. I am disappointed that I did not receive a free nozzle with my order as it addvertized that you would get a free nozzle with a $100 dollar order.

Very unhappy. I’m a 73 year old female. I cannot pull it out by myself. I almost fell retracting it. I called your customer service and was told no returns. I spent $300 on a product that I’m unable to use. That’s ridiculous

Easy to install and works wonderfully. I'm pleased at no longer having to haul and wind heavy hoses.
Finally got to install, only had a chance to use it once, but I like what I see so far. Think this is a winner.
It's quite a bit different than the Hydro powered reel I had before. This reel is going to let you know who the rewind boss is. I haven't just let the hose go for fear that it might whip around on the recoil. Currently I just run it in at the speed of light. Not really but you are running it in. I think the labeling of some of the parts could haven been better. The aren't really screws, more like Lag bolts for fastening or mounting. I was missing one washer, in what amounted to a vacuum sealed package, so you'd think you'd make sure you had 4 each washers not 3 each. I do like it. Wonder it it will work with the Orbit Tractor Sprinkler. Think I'm going to have to find out.

It’s great, but really heavy. Hope all those springs and stops last for 5-10 years. That’s the real test, ain’t it. You might consider using a lighter, colapsable hose. We’ll see. I like it.

I was tired of lugging hoses so I purchased the retractable hose reel. It is absolutely great , very well built and easy to use the 100 ft hose is perfect. I’m in my 70s now and it makes it very easy to. Thank you
it doesn’t have good pressure.. It doesn’t make sense to me, but the pressure is low. Also, the quality of the hose itself is not your best product. The one you had sent before is a better hose than the one that came inside that unit.. cancan I put another hose inside it and see if it helps

My old hose-reel was only a 1/2" x 65', so having the extra 35' & larger diameter is great.
