This was a replacement step spike from the original spike that deteriorated over 1 1/2 yrs in coastal North Carolina. The spike works fine (simple replacement), but wished it lasted longer than 1 1/2 yrs.

I bent one of these spikes driving it into hard dirt. But the replacement I purchased went right in and did not leak anywhere.
The only thing is don’t try to put it in hard ground!
