Great sprinkler timer! The Best!
The product is well known for its easy to use programmable interface, its reliability and the ease of setting it up and using it. I've been using them for at least 15 years and probably more now. This one was a replacement for an out of warranty system (barely it seems to me, but I'm not entirely sure). I just gave up the ghost. One day I went to reprogram it for the fall months and with about 10 minutes of talking with customer support we determined that the entire box needed replacement. They sold me a new one, with a generous 20% discount at within 4 days I had it. Within 2 hours, I had it re-installed and programmed and its back to working brilliantly. I would have hoped that after the years of work the system would just keep working (after all, there's NO moving parts) but it just rolled over and died. These things happen and considering what it does for me with a modicum of price and labor, we're back in business. There's no estimating how much time the system saves me when I am and am not at home, it keeps the garden looking fine and healthy.

I give it 3 stars, the reason being this is the third unit at this location. the first two the 110v board failed. The second one was less than a year so they replaced it no cost, so give another 1/2 star. I have one at another location that I've had for several years with no issues. So the newer ones don't seem to be as reliable. Otherwise a good unit.

After a few years my B-Hyve controller died. I contacted Orbit and they sent me a new one, no problem. It was nice to have a company solidly stand behind their product for once. Thank you, Orbit, and my yard thanks you too!!
The he worst customer support I’ve probably ever experienced and with a professional installer and fully working internet can’t get it to go online and sends you to Bluetooth even when you hit WiFi.
Plans are to send back and find a system for 7 zones that works. Save your money and look into anything but Orbits

This is a very nice and easy to use Irrigation System controller. Being Wi-Fi access makes it so that I can control my water even when I’m away from home.I highly recommend it.
I love everything about it. Easy to transfer data if it needs to be replaced. THE ONLY BAD for me is, I use to be able to manually water by selecting stations out of order. Now they will not water in order of how they’re selected but in numbered order no matter how you select.

The B-hyve is the biggest time saver I've found for maintaining and adjusting my sprinkler system.
Easy to install and program.
I have enjoyed having my orbit 12 station controller and found it easy to use once I got it set up. I did have a hard time texting the help desk when I would have rather talked to a person on the phone. Lightening took out my last controller but Orbit was great to replace it with a new one.
We had a lightning strike that took out the 24v transformer in our 12 station controller. The controller was replaced under warranty. I was able to salvage the undamaged program panel from the damaged control so recovery was quick and easy, no rewiring at all! The only indication of the damage was a "No AC" code. The hardest part was calling tech service for troubleshooting advice. Apparently this is a fairly unusual problem.
The internet control is an amazing feature.
Individual zone control and programming could use some simplification and user interface can be friendlier. The phone app still mimics the old style program time, start time, etc. individual setting. The control menus can be organized better for easier operation.
The control box panel itself has no improvement over the old style individualized functional display that is difficult to understand. It will be great if the control panel display can follow the functionalities of the phone app.
Gives a 92 year ability to control the system from the living room
