The timer works great initially, easy to program and set up, however I have found that the life expectancy of the timer is 2-3 years max before it fails. I my experience I have seen where everything appears to be operational but the timer does not open to release the water yet clock and program are correct.
Fortunately Orbit Customer Service is excellent and the fully support and back their products.

Not sure if you did not receive my last email, but am compelled to write another. I had this same model # 56082 previous to this one. I have been very happy with it until I experienced a problem one day. I couldn't get it to reprogram so I called orbit customer service and spoke to a representative called Stephanie. She tried to help me reprogram it and it would not respond. She was very helpful and patient. She gave me a code to get a new one. I was so impressed in a day and age where there basically is no customer service. I feel it necessary to send this email so Orbit recognizes an employee like Stephanie. Because of her great handling of my situation I will continue to buy more Orbit products and recommend Orbit to others. I am anticipating the same satisfaction with this one as the past one. The overall experience with Orbit personal was great. Solved my problem with a new unit. Support from Orbit is 5 stars.
Easy to set and use.
This timer is GREAT. It is very straight-forward and easy to program.
The new model is OK, but I liked the earlier 4 valve model that had replacement solenoids, and manual valves on either side.
Also, disappointed that the 4 valve controller failed in maybe 4 years. Can't fine my receipt. And the bhive controller we bought for another area failed in 2 years, and the warranty is only for 1 year.
I think you have quality or design or manufacture problems.

Love Orbit timers! Use them for all my client's, because simple programming and easy manual cycle running. Bonus don't need glasses to screen....
The Orbit 3 Way Timer works really well and is very easy to use. Setup was quick, the display is simple to read, and programming each zone was straightforward. It has been reliable so far and makes watering much more convenient. Great option if you want an easy automatic watering timer for your garden or lawn.
Easy to understand the instructions and set up was easy.
Love this timer because it's the only one I found with three ports. Works reliably all year.

Excellent product and customer service
This was the third three outlet timer I purchased. One the little screen became so cloudy it cannot be read. Number two gets losing it program. Hope the third one finally lasts for a while.

I like this product and I wanted to rate it 5 stars, but this is the 3rd unit because the first 2 units went bad. The first unit went bad after 3 years. The second unit went bad after only 1 year.

Easy to set up and use. Negative side is if manual watering it does not go thru all three outlets. And it defaults to 10 minutes after each use.
